Terms of Use

The short version: Skate AI gives you feedback on your skating. It can be wrong, and skateboarding can hurt you, so skate within your limits. Subscriptions are billed and managed by Apple, and you can cancel any time.

Agreeing to these terms

By downloading or using the Skate AI app or this website, you agree to these terms. The app is licensed to you through the App Store, so Apple's Standard License Agreement applies too. If the two conflict, Apple's agreement wins for anything about the license itself.

Subscriptions

  • Skate AI needs a weekly or yearly subscription, billed to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase.
  • It renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel it in your iPhone's Settings → your name → Subscriptions.
  • Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies, at reportaproblem.apple.com.
  • Prices can change. You'll be told before a new price applies to your subscription, as the App Store requires.

Skate at your own risk

Skateboarding is dangerous. You can fall, get hurt, or hurt someone else. Skate AI's breakdowns, drills, foot diagrams and coach answers are general feedback, not professional coaching or medical advice. You decide what to try, and you're responsible for skating safely: wear a helmet and pads, pick a safe spot, and respect other people and property.

The AI can be wrong

Breakdowns and coach replies are generated by AI from still frames of your clip. They can misread what happened, miss something, or give advice that doesn't suit you. Use your own judgment.

Your clips

Your clips are yours. They stay on your phone, and only still frames are sent to be analyzed, as described in our privacy policy. You give us permission to process those frames only to produce your breakdown. Only upload clips you have the right to use.

Fair use

Don't misuse Skate AI: no attempts to break, overload, reverse engineer, or resell it, and no automated or bulk use. We may limit or suspend use that looks like abuse.

No warranty

Skate AI is provided "as is." We work to keep it running and accurate but don't promise it will always be available, error-free, or right about your trick.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we aren't liable for injuries, damages, or losses that come from skating, from following the app's feedback, or from using or being unable to use Skate AI. Where the law doesn't allow that limit, our liability is limited to what you paid for Skate AI in the 12 months before the claim.

Changes

We may update these terms. When we do, we'll change the date above, and continuing to use Skate AI means you accept the new terms.
